Hello!

I’m a former consultant based in Downeast Maine. I’ve been lucky to work with an array of outstanding organizations to build capacity, engage new audiences, and bring their existing supporters closer. This site exists to showcase that work: sharing an organization’s story through compelling video, graphics, and written copy, and facilitating great meetings and retreats.

Since September 1, 2022, I’ve been the inaugural Director of the Cultural Alliance of Maine, a cultural start-up focused on advocacy, visibility, and peer-to-peer learning.

Why I’m here

Born in Calais and raised in central Maine, I grew up in a forestry family and was lucky enough to spend every summer in Baxter State Park and Oak Bay, New Brunswick. Like many Maine kids, I couldn’t wait to leave my home state once I turned 18, but before long couldn’t wait to get back.

Along the way I studied art at City College in New York City, managed a contemporary art & design gallery in Manhattan, helped install exhibitions in an 18th-century palace in Portugal, earned a masters degree in Arts Administration & Cultural Policy in London, managed conferences and events, developed corporate sponsorship strategies for an arts festival in Senegal, helped launch an NPR affiliate radio station in Berlin, Germany, and had two children of my own to make memories with at Baxter and Oak Bay.
